FORMER EAGLE KENNY SCOTT,
a junior defensive star at Texas Tech, is shown October 29 in Big
Twelve play at Baylor. Scott and other defenders are shown stopping
the Baylor running back on the Tech one foot line in the third
quarter. The stop came when Tech held a lead of only 6-0. Kenny said
about coming from Newton that, “Coach Barbay and the guys down there
did a great job of getting me ready to play at the next level.” When
asked if he is thinking about the people at home after Hurricane
Rita, he says he is thinking about them, “all the time. I’m always
constantly thinking about those people and they’re always in my
prayers.”
